What can be stored in the browser.

This page covers browser storage for DataTetherz public pages and the authenticated console, including Supabase session storage and PostHog or Google analytics storage where enabled. The broader data handling policy lives in the privacy policy.

01

Necessary storage

DataTetherz uses necessary browser storage to remember your choice and support Supabase-backed authenticated sessions, OAuth authorization flows, security checks, and account access in the console. This storage is not used for advertising.

02

Optional analytics

On public pages, analytics tools such as PostHog, Google Analytics, or Google Tag Manager help us understand whether visitors use the Product, Workflows, Security, Docs, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy pages. Events are only sent after you accept analytics.

03

Authenticated app analytics

After login, DataTetherz may use product analytics, exception capture, heatmaps, surveys, and session replay to improve the console and troubleshoot issues. Login and OAuth consent pages are excluded from PostHog capture.

04

No ad tracking today

The DataTetherz public site does not currently use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cookie-based resale of visitor data.

Rejecting analytics does not block the site.

If you reject optional public-site analytics, DataTetherz public pages still work. We only keep the preference needed to avoid asking again on every page. Authenticated-console analytics and necessary Supabase session storage are handled separately because they support product operation, reliability, security, and account access.
